VeriSign misses Sex.com trial deadline

VeriSign has missed the deadline to ask a federal appeals court to reconsider a landmark decision that makes the domain registrar liable, at least in part, for allowing the domain name sex.com to be stolen. A trial set for later this year will determine how much of the $65 million judgment awarded to sex.com owner Gary Kremen will have to be paid by VeriSign.
