UK sex comedy film grant criticized
Some British legislators are howling about the £1m government grant that funded The Sex Lives of the Potato Men, described in The Times as "one of the two most nauseous films ever made." But a spokesman for the Film Council defended the grant, saying "Public money is for everyone and that includes people who want to get drunk and see a filthy movie."
