Schwarzenegger vetoes gay-marriage bill
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger delivered on his promise Thursday to veto a bill that would have given same-sex partners the right to marry but said he would not support any rollback of the state's current domestic partner benefits. That stand would put him at odds with two initiatives being pursued by conservative groups for the ballot next year.
