Mom acquitted in underage sex case

A Canadian woman who was accused of having a sexual relationship with her daughter's 13-year-old boyfriend was acquitted last week. Her alleged teen lover testified he'd had 20 to 30 sexual encounters with 42-year-old Lori Scafidi. The defense, however, countered that the boy was lying and only complained of abuse after he broke up with Scafidi's daughter.
