Mayor says cows can deter public sex

The mayor of a small Dutch town thinks she knows a way to deter couples from having sex in a nearby nature reserve: allow Highland heifers to graze there. Spaarnwoude mayor Ellen van Hoogdalem-Arkema claims the tactic has already been shown to work elsewhere. "Apparently the presence of the cows turns the people off having sex," the mayor said.
