Marine to be court-martialed for adultery

A female marine lieutenant who allegedly had sex with a married enlisted man after attending a party in Kuwait City in May while deployed for the Iraq war is now facing a military court martial. Charges agains 1st Lt. Tara Burkhart include adultery, sodomy, and fraternization with an enlisted person. An attorney representing Burkhart claims she was raped.
