Lesbian wins payout over pub drinks ban

An Irish pub owner who allegedly refused to serve a lesbian because he did not want "her kind" in his bar was ordered to pay the woman �1,000 in compensation by a tribunal that ruled he had breached equal status laws, was unjustified in barring the woman and had caused her hurt and humiliation.
