Judge irked by bestiality video case deal
A Calgary judge wasn't pleased with the plea deal made by prosecutors in the case of a video store owner who'd been renting out bestiality videos. "It seems to me that Crowns should be arguing for a period of incarceration," said Justice Scott Brooker. Prosecutors agreed to a small fine in exchange for a guilty plea to spare jurors from having to watch the videos.
