Illinois to ban sex offender Santas

Registered sex offenders in Illinois would be barred from dressing up as Santa Claus and other characters under legislation awaiting Governor Rod Blagojevich's signature. It would also prohibit sex offenders from dressing up as the Easter Bunny. And it would ban sex offenders from turning on their porch lights on Halloween when children are trick-or-treating.
