Firefighter cleared by his thong

A British fireman who faced dismissal after being accused of streaking at work has kept his job after it was revealed he was wearing a thong. At his hearing Peter Gilbertson admitted he made a "bad decision" when he walked across the yard of the Gorton Fire Station in Manchester to collect some shower gel from a car while wearing only the g-string.
