Father tried circumcising 8-year-old son

A Ridgefield, Washington father was jailed on an assault charge after allegedly trying to circumcise his 8-year-old son. The 33-year-old man admitted to police that he used ice to numb the boy's penis and then tried to circumcise him with a kitchen knife. He claims he was following God's mandate to Abraham in the Bible.
