Fake firefighter sex suspect stabs self

A seven-week cat-and-mouse game between the NYPD and ex-journalist Peter Braunstein that began when a man dressed as a firefighter sexually assaulted a Chelsea woman for almost 13 hours on Halloween ended yesterday on a Memphis college campus, where Braunstein repeatedly stabbed himself in a theatrical suicide bid after blurting out "I am the man the world is looking for."
