FDA puts P&G sex drug on fast track
Procter & Gamble Co. said U.S. regulators have granted priority review for its female testosterone patch, dubbed Intrinsa. The experimental drug is intended to treat reduced sex drive in women with menopause triggered by surgery. "We hope to have the patch available some time in 2005 if approved by the FDA," said a company spokesperson.
