Ex-cop pleads guilty to sex battery

A former Broward Sheriff's deputy pleaded guilty Tuesday to a misdemeanor charge of sexual battery and one count of false imprisonment. Prosecutors say the incident occurred when Francisco Ortiz, 31, and his partner separated two sisters who were fighting and took one of them to their patrol car, where she was fondled.
