Bawdy gatherings attract opposition

The parlor at Bob Alexson's Union Street Bed & Breakfast in Schenectady, New York looks like the lobby of any small hotel--except for the wrapped condoms and the sex gel on the end table. The 1897 mansion also has a sex room in the basement where visitors can find any number of props with colorful names such as "The Horse," "The Examination Table" and "The Dungeon Cross." It's all too much for Dana Swalla, a Phoenix Avenue resident who wants the city to close down the establishment.
