Ban lifted on young entertainers in bars
A rule implemented by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission in August 2002 to prevent women under the age of 21 from working as strippers was lifted following pressure from other young entertainers who were also being kept off the stage. "This is our career, this is the way we make money, it's our job and it's honest," said Jenna Rae, a 17-year-old singer who opposed the ban.
