Clothing retailer Abercrombie and Fitch claims a consumer boycott launched by conservative organizations had nothing to do with its decision to pull its sexy Christmas catalog. The company said it simply needed to free precious shelf space for a new perfume and promised to return with an equally sensational spring catalog.
